Soul and Motown Magic

May 17th saw Alexander Jansons Myocarditis take over The Old Bengal in Beaconsfield for a night of live music.

The sounds of Soul and Motown were the soundtrack to the evening as we hosted a fundraising evening at the Old Bengal in Beaconsfield. Guests were treated to the dulcet tones on Ritchie Penrose as he belted all the crows favourites from a list of Soul and Motown greatest hits.

The classic mix of great food, wonderful company and amazing music had everyone on their feet making the evening another charity success. The best quote of the evening came from the leader of the conga who, once finished,  couldn’t help looking slightly bemused as he claimed “I only popped in for a takeaway.”

The evening was a huge success as loyal supporters and new friends enjoyed an evening of fun while helping to raise finds for myocarditis research in the UK.
