Supporting You

Myocarditis can be life-threatening if not treated in time and is unfortunately one of the biggest causes of sudden death in young people in the UK. Myocarditis can also be hard to diagnose, in any age group, and sometimes the results of a late diagnosis can be devastating. We firmly believe that no one should suffer alone and if we are unable to help, please contact any of the below organisations to help you and your family in this difficult time.

WE’RE HERE TO HELP

Being diagnosed with myocarditis or having a loved one be diagnosed with myocarditis can be both confusing and daunting. We understand that finding the correct information may be hard so we are always available to answer questions where we can, as well as, offering live information evenings with medical professionals who can help answer any questions you may have.

Find Comfort

We understand that living with myocarditis can be confusing and sometimes it’s hard to express your feelings to people who have no experience of this. We run a closed support group on Facebook that’s open to anyone who has myocarditis, who has a loved one with myocarditis and who may have lost someone to myocarditis. The aim of the group is to give you the space to talk about how you feel with people who understand. To access the group, please follow this link and answer the questions when prompted.
