On 17 August we launched our first ever National Myocarditis Day. The significance of 17 August, Alexander Jansons birthday, was an important part of establishing this day focussing on drawing attention to myocarditis and its symptoms.
With our charity partner, Flourish PR, we submitted a press release to three key nationals but the end result was better than we could ever have dreamed of! The article was picked up by numerous platforms and we have had over 1.23 MILLION views across the various platforms. Not only was Alexander Jansons Myocarditis UK represented nationally, but some international platforms picked up on it as well and featured our story!

It’s crazy to think that ten years ago, no one was talking about myocarditis and now we have had national and international coverage which just goes to prove, we may be small but we do not shy away from a challenge! Thank you to all our loyal supporters who have helped us make this happen and to the team at Flourish PR for all their help and guidance.
Below are some of the platforms mentioned that featured our press release – we really are very proud of this achievement!
