Meet Our 2026 London Marathon Runners – Four Inspiring Supporters Taking on the Challenge.

As the countdown to the London Marathon continues, we’re proud to introduce the incredible people who will be running for Myocarditis UK in 2026.

Every runner in our team has their own story and motivation. For some, it’s about honouring someone they’ve lost. For others, it’s about raising awareness after seeing first-hand the devastating impact myocarditis can have. And for some, it’s about using a personal challenge to support a cause that urgently needs more attention.

In this second blog in our marathon series, we’re introducing our four runners who will be taking on the 26.2 mile challenge: Andrew Neenan, Mollie Heyworth, Joseph Skelley and Ben Sleath.

Supporting Team Myocarditis UK

Andrew, Mollie, Joseph, and Ben are our four incredible runners who will be taking on the London Marathon for Myocarditis UK this year. Every mile they run will help raise awareness of myocarditis and support vital work to improve understanding, diagnosis and outcomes for those affected.

If you’d like to support Team Myocarditis UK, keep an eye on our social channels for ways you can support and cheer them on as they head towards the finish line. 🏃‍♂️💙
