The UK government has issued new guidance on the long-term health impact of coronavirus.
Can Covid-19 Cause Myocarditis?

There have been numerous cases of coronavirus-related myocarditis cases, thought to be a combination of direct viral injury and cardiac damage as a result of the body’s immune response.
Previous Myocarditis

If you have been previously diagnosed with Myocarditis but are fully recovered and otherwise healthy, the recent understanding is that you are not at increased risk HOWEVER, we do recommend avoiding crowded places and following the NHS guidelines.
